Hey folks, I am Satya, Melbourne based visual artist and part time student at Photography Studies College. The idea of collecting memories started when I was finishing school. With lot of friends I would miss, I decided to collect passport photographs of all my friends, and make a photo memoir. Of course the project never finished, but it eventually paved a way for me to document my experiences
My photography journey started when I moved to Australia. Before my first trip to Tassie in 2012, I purchased my first camera and boy, looking back now, probably that was the best decision I made in my life.
I love going to new places and document my experiences. I enjoy landscape and documentary photography, but also ventured into different genres like still life and portraiture.
I draw inspiration to my ideas from my childhood memories and experiences in life.
